Hey everyone, Shane here with etrailer.com, today, I have a 2016 Range Rover Evoque, I'm gonna walk you through how to install the Draw-Tite Class Three Trailer Hitch Receiver. This is what our hitch is gonna look like when it's installed. The cross tube is completely hidden behind our bumper fascia, only thing we can really see is our receiver tube, so it's really gonna maintain a nice clean, look on this vehicle. Steel construction, black powder coated finish, it's gonna hold up really well against rust and corrosion. Class three hitch is gonna be great for bike racks, your ball mounts, even cargo carriers. Maybe you have some bikes and you're tired of trying to put them inside, you really don't wanna get a roof rack, this is probably what you're gonna have to do make it easier to load and unload your bikes. more

Today on our 2018 Land Rover Range Rover Velar, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite's Class 3 2-inch trailer hitch receiver. And this is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. That's right, it's completely hidden behind the fascia so you're not gonna be able to see it whatsoever when you're not using it. So you can maintain that complete factory look. When you already to use it, the panel here at the back is removable. We can simply loosen up the fasteners on bottom and that'll drop out of the way, revealing our hitch behind it. more

Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 Land Rover Range Rover Sport- Video

Today on our 2016 Land Rover Range Rover Sport, we're going to be installing Draw-Tite's Class III 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 75229. And this is what our hitch is going to look like when it's installed. The cross tube's going to be hidden behind our paneling, but you will be able to see the receiver sticking out the back. It's a Class III 2" by 2" receiver so it's going to be great for all your towing needs from hauling trailers to bike racks and cargo carriers. It uses a 5/8" hitch pin and clip. Now one doesn't come included with the kit, but you can pick one up here at etrilaer.com using part number PC3.The small hole located just to the rear of the hitch pin hole allows the use a a J-pin. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2013 Land Rover Evoque - Curt- Video

Today on our 2013 Land Rover Evoke we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt class 3 custom fit trailer hitch receiver part number C13128. Here's what our hitch looks like fully installed, and it's going to tuck up nicely behind our fascia and all we're really going to see is our receiver tube opening sticking out. It does have a reinforced collar, giving it a nice, clean look, and it is a class 3, so it's going to be a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening. Now, it is going to use a standard 5/8 pin and clip. It's not included, but you can pick one up on our website using part number PC3. Now, as far as the safety chain loops go, it's going to be a rolled steel stock style, welded to the bottom of the receiver tube. As you can see, we're not going to have any issue getting most sized hooks on or off. Now, our hitch is going to feature a 600 pound tongue weight and a 4,000 pound gross trailer weight rating. Now, I do want to mention you always want to double check your vehicle's owner's manual to make sure it can handle that amount of weight. more

Today on our 2016 Land Rover Evoque we'll be having a look at our best hitch options. Two options here today. They are both class 3 hitches. On the top, we have the CURT part number C13128, and on the bottom we have the Draw-Tite part number 75227. The biggest difference that we found between our two hitches that we have here today is capacities. Our CURT hitch here at the top has a 600 lb tongue weight rating and a 4000 lb max gross trailer weight rating, where at our Draw-Tite hitch here at the bottom is a little bit higher. It has a 675 lb max gross tongue weight rating and a 4500 lb max gross trailer weight rating. Neither one of these hitches that we have here are rated for the use of weight distribution. Now, the Draw-Tite hitch here with the higher max gross trailer weight rating is a better hitch than the CURT if we're using it to tow a trailer that is closer to a Land Rover's max towing capacity. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 Land Rover Discovery Sport - Curt- Video

Today on our 2016 Land Rover Discovery Sport, we'll be having a look at and installing the Curt Class 3 Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number C13247. What I really like about this hitch compared to others on the market is that even though our frame of the hitch is tucked up nice and high against the vehicle, we still have plenty of clearance around our receiver, making it an ideal candidate for bike racks. On the end of our receiver here we have a nice welded on collar which helps give it a more finished look, making this an ideal hitch to use on a high end vehicle, such as the Discovery. On the side of our receiver you'll find our industry standard 5/8 of an inch hitch pin hole to secure any of our hitch mounted accessories that we may have. Welded on the bottom of the frame of our hitch and our receiver is this plate, it's an angular design for securing our safety chains onto if we're using this hitch to tow a trailer. They're fairly decent sized openings, so we shouldn't have much problems using most safety chains out there. It features a 750 pound max gross tongue weight rating and a 5,000 pound max gross trailer weight rating. You'll want to consult with your owner's manual of your Discovery and not exceed the limits of the vehicle's capable towing. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2013 Land Rover Evoque- Video

Today on our 2013 Land Rover Evoke, we'll be having a look at and installing the Draw-Tite Max-Frame class III trailer hitch receiver, part number 75227. All right, here's what our hitch looks like installed. As you can see, it's completely hidden underneath our fascia. The only part that sticks out is the class III 2" receiver itself and then our rolled steel safety chain loops that are welded to the bottom of the receiver. On the side of our receiver here we'll find two pin holes. The larger one closest to the front of the vehicle is our 5/8" diameter hitch pin hole to secure whatever hitch-mounted accessory we may have. The smaller one here to the rear is a J-pin stabilization device hole. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2008 Land Rover Range Rover Sport - Curt- Video

Today in our 2008 Land Rover Range Rover Sport, we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Class III, part number 13456. Here's what it looks like once it's installed. You can see its a nice round, tubular design. It's going to tuck up very nice under the bottom of your vehicle. With a flat style safety chain loop. You're going to have one 5/8" hitch pin hole. It's a 2" X 2" receiver Class III. It's going to give you 600 pounds of tongue weight, which is the amount of downward force, and 6,000 pounds of towing weight, which is the amount you can tow, and if you're going to use a weight distribution, that'll bring you up to 800 pounds of tongue weight, and 8,000 pounds of trailer towing. more

This is what the hitch looks like once it's installed on our Range Rover. A few features of this is it has this two inch by two inch receiver tube opening. It's got this nice reinforcement collar around it. It's got a steel plate with holes for your safety chains. It's got this nice tubular design, and you can see this cross frame but as you can see it's also tucked up nice to the fascia on the underside. On this hitch there's no drilling or welding required. more
